We are a global shipping management services company with over two decades experience managing a range of vessels.

Based in Latvia, LSC provides ship management services for a variety of customers, with 35 modern double hull tankers under technical management.

LSC is a capable and reliable business partner for any Ship Owner, offering full technical management of vessels including crewing, ensuring high-quality service, safety and professionalism at very competitive prices.


LSC is certified for compliance with applicable International Management codes and standards - ISM Code, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards. Document of Compliance issued by Lloyd’s Register confirms that the Company is capable of managing oil and chemical tankers in accordance with established safety and quality standards. The Company and all ships comply with specific safety and environment protection requirements of all States worldwide, including U.S. Coast Guard shipping standards and U.S. environment protection legislation – OPA-90, VGP (Vessel General Permit), etc.

Robert was made Chairman of the Management Board of LSC in 2018. He is also Chairman of the Management Boards of JSC Ventspils nafta, Latvijas Kugnieciba and Vitol Baltics, and Chairman of the Supervisory Councils of LatRosTrans Ltd,  and Ventspils nafta terminals Ltd.  
Roberthas worked in the commodities business for over 20 years. He joined Vitol in 1996 and held various commercial positions with the company prior to assuming control of the Group’s businesses in Latvia in 2013. Professional education: BA Honours Degree in Business.

Mikkjal joined LSC in November 2016 as Managing Director. After starting his career as a Deck Officer in Maersk and later tanker company Torm, he served at sea for 25 years, finishing in the position as of Master; and came permanently ashore in 2005 joining Torm Singapore Pte. Ltd. He remained with Torm Singapore Pte. Ltd. until 2011, having worked various positions as Superintendent, General Manager and CEO. He then moved to Thome Shipmanagement, Thailand JV as Managing Director. Before joining LSC he also spent time in South Korea working as Country Manager for Aker Solutions Korea, Drilling Technology.

Andrejs started his career as a Deck Officer on tankers with Latvian Shipping Company, serving for 14 years at sea finishing in the position of Master; coming ashore in 2011 and joining the LSC Safety and Quality Department as a Marine/Safety Superintendent. In September 2015 he was promoted to his current position of Vetting Manager.

Juris started his career as a Deck Officer on tankers with Latvian Shipping Company; serving for 17 years at sea finishing in the position of Master. He came ashore in 1998 to further his career with LSCSM as a Marine Superintendent and Safety and Quality Manager until 2003; served as Managing Director of BSM (Latvia) then rejoined LSC Shipmanagement in July 2005 as Senior Marine Superintendent / Ship Inspector and was promoted to Safety and Quality Manager in March 2008, in 2018 to Compliance Director.

Pavels joined LSC in July 2004 as a Technical Superintendent, and in January 2011 was promoted to the position of Technical Director. After starting his career as an Engineer Officer on container vessels and tankers with the Latvian Shipping Company, Pavels served at sea for 12 years becoming a certificated Chief Engineer before leaving to pursue a shore career.

Aleksejs started his career as a Deck Officer on tankers with Latvian Shipping Company, serving for 11 years at sea finishing in the position of Master; coming ashore in March 2015 and joining the LSCSM Safety and Quality Department as a Marine Superintendent. In November 2017 he became Vetting Superintendent and in February 2018 he was promoted to  his current position of HSSEQ Director. Aleksejs holds Master degree in Ship Management from Maritime Academy of Latvia.

Kaspars Bunne has worked for Ventpils nafta group since 2008 (JSC ‘Ventspils Nafta’, JSC ‘Latvian Shipping Company’). In March 2018 he was promoted to Finance Director in LSC. From 2003 to 2008 he worked for Deloitte Audits Latvia Ltd, gaining extensive experience in auditing for a broad range of companies and industries. Prior to this, he worked for Hansabanka JSC (now Swedbank JSC) in the Internal Audit Department and Retail Lending Department. Kaspars holds Social Sciences Bachelor Degree in Management from University of Latvia.

Lelde joined AS Latvian Shipping Company as Head of Internal Audit department in 2007. In 2018, she was invited to work at SIA LSC as Human Resources Director. Previously, Lelde worked at Deloitte as Senior Audit Manager specialising in financial institutions and transportation industry dealing with audits and financial issues in Latvia and Eastern Europe. At Deloitte she was also appointed as Professional Practice Manager and Knowledge Manager in Eastern Europe, AML officer in Baltics and Global Independence Coordinator in EMEA. Lelde Purviņa is a fellow member of ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in Great Britain. Lelde holds an MBA from RTU Riga Business School and Bachelor’s degree in International Economic Relations at the University of Latvia.

Everita joined LSC in 1997, initially working in supply and logistics then transferring to the finance department taking up the position of Chief Accountant in December 1999. Everita principally works on National and International tax matters and oversees the day to day marine accounting and financial activities associated with LSC. Everita qualified with a Bachelor’s degree and then a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Latvia in Riga.

Through her studies at the Latvian Maritime Academy, Sanita spent time as a cadet and Officer in charge of a navigational watch, graduating in 2010 acquiring the qualification of a Navigational Officer with certifications in engineering. After graduation she joined the Fleet Personnel Department of LSC as inspector-referent. Shortly after she was promoted to Personnel Officer, followed by the position of Senior Personnel Officer and in October 2014, she was appointed the Director of Fleet Personnel department. In 2013, she acquired a Master of Business administration (MBA) at the University “Turība”
