CONDITION SURVEYS

Areas covered include corrosion protection, cargo systems, deck and navigational equipment, accommodation, machinery systems and maintenance, logbooks, information on trade, performance reports, loading / discharging rates, out-turn discrepancies, safety equipment and safety consciousness, records ad status related to Classification and Maritime administrations.

SALE PURCHASE SERVICES

The primary objective is to provide assistance in connection with the sale and purchase of vessels by giving an independent view of the condition of the vessel(s). Based on the client’s specific requirements, this service involves the inspection of class records to provide the status of class and statutory certificates and surveys; the status of recommendations and memoranda affecting class; dry-docking records; major and significant overhauls and repairs; and a review of thickness measurement results where applicable.

PRE-VETTING ASSESSMENTS

In the marine tanker industry, two inspection regimes are predominant: SIRE and CDI. SIRE inspections are commissioned by oil companies that are members of the OCIMF (Oil Companies International Marine Forum), Reports of such inspections are maintained on the OCIMF database for members to access, providing them with up to date inspection status of the vessel. Our team of Master Mariners and Chief Engineers have years of high quality and safe tanker operating experience behind them. These individuals are all selected and trained to undertake inspection work to the highest standard. All our pre-vetting inspectors are thoroughly familiar & acquainted with OCIMF VIQ ,SIRE, CDI & TMSA procedures.
