At LSC, we recognize that the seafaring profession is a journey shared not only by those who sail, but also by the families who remain ashore. 🚢

We recently had the opportunity to help gather information and insights for two academic studies exploring the experiences of seafarers’ wives in Latvia:

⚓️ Bachelor’s thesis: “Seafarers’ Wives in Latvia: The Relationship Between Personality Traits and Coping Approaches During Cyclical Partner Absence.”

⚓️ Master’s thesis: “Memories and Predictions of Seafarers’ Wives, Perceived Stress, Autonomy, and Relationship Satisfaction During Partner Absence and Presence.”
